Visit Chichen Itza, the ancient capital of the Mayan Empire, for its extraordinary architectural beauty and its geographical location. This tour is a must see for any visitor to Cancun!!!

Founded in the year 514 AD, Chichen Itza was once the capital of the ancient Mayan civilization and recently declared one of the “7 Modern Wonders of the World.” Admire the majestic Observatory, the Sacred Cenote where sacrifices took place and the Ball Court's perfect acoustic, with 168 meters in lengths and 70 meters wide the largest Ball Game in Mesoamerica. Moreover, be astonished by the Pyramid of Kukulcan, that combines theology and astronomy to produce a unique spectacle twice a year; the Spring Equinox and the Autumn Solstice. Days when the shadows projected over the architectonic elements of the building resemble a serpent descending to the ground.

Located inside the pyramid are the famous Chac Mool sculpture and the Jaguar Throne.

Itinerary
07:00 / 07:30 hrs.	Our tour begins with the pick up of all passengers between 07.00 and 07.00 hrs. At around 08:15 hrs we will depart by our luxury bus or van.
	The tour Chichen Itza is about three hours. First we will visit a cenote where you can swim or simply enjoy the beauty of this natural formation.
	Later, we stop at the village of Ka-wah. Here we can use the bathrooms or do some souvenir shopping. Afterwards, we will have our lunch buffet which includes salad, soup, rice, chicken, fish and regional dishes. During the meal enjoy regional dances. Next, we will depart to the archaeological site of Chichen Itza for our tour.
	Once inside the Chichen Itza archaeological area, we will split into groups of Spanish and English speaking travellers. The guided tour will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Our certified guides, will talk about the history of this great Mayan civilization, their pyramids and monuments. Afterwards, enjoy some time to explore the archaeological zone. A great opportunity to take photographs. From there will come back directly to your hotel.
