EcoColors has started to operate exclusive ecotourism in 1997. Very fast, EcoColors discoverd that the most important criteria to provide unique experiences is to work with qualitative guides that are professionals in their field and are dedicated to nature as well as having a well designed product that brings our guests closer to the culture, the nature and the people of Mexico.

Then, EcoColors started training their guides in biology, ecology, tourism, ecotourism, environmental interpretation and administration. That resulted in a very well developed product which guarantees great experiences to our customers.

Taking in consideration the experience Ecocolors has in the operation of exclusive tours dedicated to adventure and ecotourism, several NGOs (such as WWF) as well as the Federal government (SECTUR) of Mexico requested EcoColors to design and operate environmental interpretation courses. The training also deals with product development and ecotourism marketing.

Today, many different local Mayan communities as well as mexican guides have benefited form the courses and the experience EcoColors has in the field.

Many people (investors and project managers) have contacted EcoColors throughout the years, asking for our advise when they were planning to implement authentic ecotourism in their projects.
