Visit the most important archaeological zone in Yucatan, ancient capital of the Mayan Empire, for its extraordinary architectural beauty and its geographical location.

	Founded in the year 514, you can admire the majestic Observatory, the Sacred Cenote where sacrifices took place, the Ball Court, the largest Ball Game in Mesoamerica. It is 168 meters in length and 70 meters in width with a perfect acoustic. The Castle, Pyramid of Kukulcan, where both theology and astronomy combine to produce a unique spectacle twice a year, the Spring Equinox and the Autumn Solstice, days when the shadows projected over the architectonic elements of the building resemble a serpent descending to the ground. Located inside the pyramid are the famous Chac Mool sculpture and the Jaguar Throne, and if you climb it you will overlook the entire Chichen Itza.

ITINERARY:
Our excursion begins picking up all passengers from 7:00 am to 7:45 at the lobby of all major Cancun hotels and do the check in at our terminal in La Isla shopping mall to depart at 8:15 am in a deluxe motor coach.

	We will arrive at the Mayaland Hotel around 12:00 to take a delicious buffet lunch with typical Yucatan dishes as well as poultry, hamburgers and salad bar while watching regional people dancing folkloric music. At this point we will be ready to get into the archaeological site by the private gate of Mayaland.

Once inside we will divide groups into English and Spanish speaking and take a 1 hour and a half guided tour with a certified guide that will talk to us about the history and secrets of the Mayans. The guide will point out the most important places and then you will enjoy some free time to walk around, climb El Castillo or take some pictures.

We depart at 4:30 and arrive in Cancun around 7:00 pm and drop off at all major hotels.

INCLUDES:Round trip transportation, entrance fee to the archaeological site, bilingual certified INAH guide, guided visit, buffet lunch at Mayaland and the use of facilities in the hotel.
