Come and discover the most important archaeological site on the Yucatan Peninsula, Chichén Itzá! It was founded in the year 514 AD. Chichen Itza was once the capital of the ancient Mayan civilization and has recently been declared as one of the "seven Modern Wonders of the World". Immerse yourself in the ancient capital of the Mayan Empire and Mayan culture. Admire the majestic Observatory and the Sacred Cenote where sacrifices took place. Get to discover the Ball Court's perfect acoustics, with 168 meters in length and 70 meters wide, the largest Ball Game in Mesoamerica. Moreover, be astonished by the Pyramid of Kukulkán that combines theology and astronomy to produce a unique spectacle twice a year; the Spring Equinox and the Autumn Solstice. On these days, the shadows projected over the architectonic elements of the building resemble a serpent descending to the ground. This is an absolute must do while visiting Mexico!

• 7:00 - 08:00 am

  The tour begins when we pick up passengers in their hotel lobbies. From there, we will drive 2,5 hours towards Chichén Itzá.

• 10:00 am

  Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of a Cenote (underground river).

• 11:00 am

  Visit at the craft center.

• 12:00 pm

  Lunch time.

• 01:30 pm

  Arrive at the archaeological site. During the tour our certified guide will give an introduction to the historical meaning and mysteries, which have been discovered yet, at Chichén Itzá. The tour will last approximately 1,5 hours. After, there is time to enjoy this monumental pre-Colombian city on you own.

• 03:00 pm

  Adimiring the Temple of Kukulcan, known as El Castillo, or visit the Astronomical Observatory. There is also the possibility to take pictures or have some time to relax.

• 04:00 pm

  Travel back to Cancun/Riviera Maya.

• 06:00 pm

  Arrival back at your hotel.
