A seven day expedition to the Yucatan peninsula, which includes multiple activities such as: kayaking, biking, snorkeling, hiking in the jungle, exploring Mayan sites and camping in pristine protected areas.
Trip highlights:
- Kayak in the ocean lanes used by ancient Mayan traders, inside the barrier reef.
- Snorkel the area´s reef and blue lagoons.
- Walk the ruins and climb the temples of Chichen Itzá and other Mayan sites that reveal the enginering geniality and the worldview of the ancient Mayan cities that ruled the Yucatan Peninsula and Central America.
- Camp 3 nights on pristine beaches and sleep two nights in a ranch inside México´s second largest federal park, the 1.8 million acre Sian ka´an Biosphere Reserve (an UNESCO heritage site for more than a decade!).
- Overnight on the powdery sands of the Caribbean beyond Cancun.
- Sleep in a 16 th century town founded by the Spanish conquistadores.
Day 1
Pick up at the airport and transfer to the Botanical garden in Puerto Morelos.
Establish campment, after which dinner in the campment and explanation of activities, security measuremets and other important information will be given.
Day 2

Afternoon walk in the jungle in search of wild spider monkeys. |

Dinner in the campment and brief explanation on the birds of the Maya jungle. |

Optional night walk to discover the sounds of the jungle after dark. |
Day 3

Depart towards Chichen Itzá archaeological site. |

Visit the famous and most important archaeological site of
the Mayas: Chichen Itzá. |

Lunch on your own. |

Visit the unique cenote Dzinup. An amazing cave
w ith turquoise water. You will be able to enjoy
swimming in this cenote. |

Back to campment. |

Arrival and dinner in campment. |
Day 4

Pack your things and depart to do a bike trip. |

Bike through the jungle discovering unique cenotes; in the area you can
snorkel and discover amazing caves. |

Depart towards Sian ka´an Reserve. |

Arrival to Sian ka´an Reserve and establish campment. |
