Tour 1: Archeology and Adventure - South
This tour will take you from Cancun to Chetumal stopping
along the way to visit numerous archeological sites, parks,
colonial cities and giving you the chance to enjoy swimming
and snorkeling in crystal blue cenotes, colorful lagoons,
and the ocean. You will travel approximately 1,160 kilometers
during this tour.
Day 1: Travel from Cancun to Puerto Morelos
Activities: Snorkel in a National Marine Park
along the second largest coral reef in the world.
Visit Crococun where you can observe
crocodiles and other animals of the region. Visit the
Botanical Garden where you will see
an amazing variety of flora and fauna, an intriguing sample
of a Maya home, and possibly a few spider monkeys swinging
from the trees. Day 2:
Travel from Puerto Morelos to Tulum
Activities: Walk along the pedestrian mall in Playa
del Carmen , perhaps stocking up on a few souvenirs,
and visit the Aviary . Enjoy a few hours
exploring Xcaret , a park that offers
many different faucets for your enjoyment including aquariums,
gardens full of flowers and plants, a butterfly garden,
the island of Jaguars , underground rivers, snorkeling,
and more.You also have the option of visiting
Xel-Ha where you will see the largest natural
aquarium in the world. Finish the day at the archeological
site of Tulum , a place that was a fundamental
commercial port for the ancient Mayas. You will see why
as you view the impressive ruins with the turquoise ocean
as the backdrop. Day 3: Travel
from Tulum to Majahual
| Activities: 20 minutes south of Tulum
you will encounter the archeological site of Muyil
in the heart of the Maya zone. Continuing
south you will reach the town of Carrio Puerto
. This town was the capital and sanctuary
of the rebelling Mayas during the Caste War and you
will see evidence of history as you walk the streets.
Arrive at Majahual and enjoy the
rest of the day snorkeling, swimming, sailing, or
fishing. The Banco Cinchorro Reserve
lies just off the coast and will intrigue you with
its reputation of being a marine cemetery. |

Day 4: Travel from Majahual to Chetumal
Activities: Spend some time snorkeling and swimming in
the lagoon at Bacalar , one of the most
beautiful lagoons in the world. Here you will find the
Fort of San Felipe Bacalar , a site of
historical importance during the colonial period. You
can also visit Cenote Azul before departing
to Chetumal. Once in Chetumal immerse yourself in culture
at the Museum of Maya
Culture or the City Museum
. Day 5: Stay in Chetumal
Activities: Learn more about the history of the area at
the archeological site of Oxtankah .
Then swim and snorkel at the small, unpopulated island
of Tamalcab . Enjoy the breathtaking
views of Chetumal Bay as you wander
the city of Chetumal . Day 6:
Stay in Chetumal
Activities: Swim in the refreshing water at Xul-Ha
, where the waterways are bordered by palms and
rich vegetation. Visit the impressive archeological sites
of Kohunlich and Dzibanche .
Day 7: Travel from Chetumal to
Cancun .
Activities: Will be suggested based on your time of departure
from Cancun and personal interest. Possibilities include
visiting a part of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve
or snorkeling in the network of caves that make
up the Grand Cenote .

Tour 2: Archeological Route - Colonial
On this tour you will travel from Cancun , down the coast
to Tulum and then head inland to the quaint historical
town of Valladolid and then over to Mérida. You
will have the opportunity to visit many interesting and
wonderful places, including the well-known archeological
site of Chichén Itzá. Day
1: Travel from Cancun to Puerto Morelos.
Activities: In Puerto Morelos you will have the chance
to snorkel in the National Marine Park
along the second largest coral reef in the world. Just
a few kilometers outside of town you can experience the
flora and fauna of the Botanical Garden .
Here you will find a reconstructed example of Maya home
and if you are lucky you will see a few spider monkeys
dangling from the trees. Day
2: Travel from Puerto Morelos to Tulum.
Activities: Make a quick stop in Playa del Carmen
to visit the Aviary and stroll
along the pedestrian mall. Move on down the road to Xcaret
, a park that offers many different faucets for
your enjoyment including aquariums, gardens full of flowers
and plants, a butterfly garden, the island of Jaguars,
underground rivers, snorkeling, and more. You also have
the option of visiting Xel-Ha where

Day 3: Travel
from Tulum to Valladolid
Activities: Along the way stop to see the archeological
site of Coba , built next to a lagoon
and featuring the tallest pyramid of the Yucatan Peninsula,
Nohoch Mul . You will also visit the
ruins of Ek Balam and have the chance
to swim in the refreshing waters of Cenote X-Keken
. When you arrive to Valladolid you won't want
to miss viewing Cenote Zací .
This cenote has been providing water to the people of
the town for hundreds of years. Valladolid is an old town
with a rich history and beautiful architecture. You can
spend the afternoon touring cathedrals or taking a stroll
in the park. Day 4:
Travel from Valladolid to Mérida
Activities: Experience the grandness of Chichén
Itzá , a city that was flourishing at
the end of the classic period and the beginning of the
post-classical period. Learn about the interesting games,
worship, and rituals that took place here and discover
the knowledge that the Mayas had for astronomy, the calendar,
and more. Next visit Izamal , the “yellow
city”, and then visit the archeological site of Dzibilchaltún
. Upon arriving to Mérida you can learn
more about the history of the area by visiting the Museum
of Anthropology and History .
Day 5: Travel from
Mérida to Campeche
Activities: Between Mérida and Campeche you will
find four different archeological sites, Uxmal
, Kabah , Sayil ,
and Labna , each with its own significance
and story. Take your time visiting these sites and at
the end of the day you will arrive in the capital of the
state, Campeche . Day
6: Stay in Campeche
Activities: T here are many sites to enjoy in this
colonial city including the Baluarte de la Soledad
(a museum containing Mayan carvings), the Baluarte
de Santiago (a botanical garden), the City
Theatre , Cathedrals , Parks
and more.
Day 7: Travel from Campeche to Cancún
Activities: Will be suggested depending on your time of
departure and personal interest.

This tour will take you to impressive Maya ruins, friendly

1: Travel from Cancun to Puerto Morelos
Activities: Observe a beautiful array of flora at the

of flamingos. Then in the ocean at Puerto Progreso
. Relax on the beach and contemplate life as
you gaze out over the turquoise blue waters. Day
6: Travel from Progreso to Holbox
Activities: A rrive at the small fishing village
of Chiquila where you will board a boat
to travel across a lagoon to the pristine island of Holbox
. Enjoy tranquil beaches, starry nights and the
grand diversity of life.
Day 7: Travel from Holbox to Cancun
Activities: Will be suggested depending on your time of
departure and personal interest.

Day 1: Travel from Puerto
Morelos to Tulum.
Activities: Snorkel in a National Marine Park along the
second largest coral reef. In the world. Visit the "Cenote
Verde Lucero" where you can snorkel in the beatiful and
clear water.Visit Crococun where you can observe crocodiles,
and other animals of the region. Visit the Botanical Garden
where you will observe an amazing variety of flora and
fauna, an intriguin sample of a Maya home, and possibly
a few spider monkeys swinging from the trees. Check in
Ojo de Agua hotel. Day 2 : Travel
from Tulum to Chetumal.
Activities: Depart early and visit "Cenote Escondido"
where you can swim and snorkel or visit the "Cenote
calavera, Grand cenote or Casa cenote". Visit the
Muyil Maya Community, where you can visit the Muyil
Maya Ruins and meet a Maya local guide making a
boat tour in the wetlands of Sian Ka´an Biosphere
Reserve. Depart to Chetumal. Check in Los Cocos

Day 3 : Travel from
Chetumal to Calakmul.
Activities: You can visit the Bacalar Lagoon , spend some
time swimming, snorkeling or kayaking one of the most
beatutiful lagoons in the world. you can visit also the
" Cenote azul " before departing to Calakmul. Check in
La Puerta Calakmul.
Day 4: Travel from Calakmul
to Celestun.
Activities: Depart early in the morning to Calakmul Biosphere
Reserve and arrive to Calakmul Maya Ruins. In the dirt
road into the Biosphere Reserve you could see diferent
kind of wildfauna crossing the road, like jaguars, deers,
puma, toucans, parrots, etc. and beautiful and exuberant
tropical flora. Prepare for a long drive to Celestun Biosphere
reserve. Check in Ecoparaiso Xixim.
Day 5: Travel from Celestun
to Valladolid.
Activities: Visit by boat the Biosphere Reserve of Celestun
where you can enjoy diferent the magnifiscent flamingos
as well as other kind of marine birds, flora and fauna.
After departing the reserve on the road to Valladolid
stop to snorkel or swim in some cenotes like " Cenote
I-kil " and " Cenote Dzitnup ". Arrive at night to Valladolid.
Important colonial city of Yucatan State. Check in Meson

Day 6: Travel from Valladolid to Holbox.
Activities: Go directly to Chiquila where you can get
a motor boat and cross Yalahou lagoon , where maybe you
can see dolfins. Visit the bird island "Isla pajaros"
where your eyes can see cormorants, magnificent frigate
birds, pelicans, herons,egrets, etc. also if you have
time, visit the "Cenote Yalahou" and swimming in the beautiful
