Visit Sian Ka'an and cross the lagoon by boat to discover a Mayan temple and swim through the Mayan channels.

This tour shows you the unique sites of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Yucatan's most important protected area. Here you will cross the lagoon by boat to discover birds and different vegetations and visit Xlapak, a Mayan temple. You even have the possibility to swim through the channels. Make use of a life vest and let yourself go with the freshwater stream.

Learn more about the Mayan history by visiting the temple of Muyil and explore the hidden secrets in one of our beautiful cenotes.

Afterwards, have a great lunch in Don Cafeto, a restaurant in Tulum. Here, you can choose between fish, chicken, beef and more.

Sian Ka´an Wilderness

Itinerary
7:00 hrs	Pick-up at your hotel in Cancun.
9:30 hrs	Arrival at the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and start with the first activity of the day: Crossing the lagoon by boat, while the guide will explain more about the eco-system, wildlife and Sian Ka'an. After 45 minutes you even have the possibility to swim through the Mayan channels. Use a life vest and the stream will guide you through this wilderness.
12:00 hrs	After the wetlands and lagoons we will do a hike through the jungle to the historical site of Muyil. This Mayan temple has great history and during the hike the guide will bring you closer to that.
13:30 hrs	The last activity of the day is snorkeling in a beautiful cenote. The Yucatan Peninsula is the only place where you can find these natural created swimming pools. We will provide the snorkel equipment, so you can discover the hidden secrets of the underwater world!
15:00 hrs	Lunch in Restaurant Don Cafeto. The meal is a 3 course menu consisting of an appetizer, main dish (chicken, beef or fish) and dessert. Soft drinks, tea, or coffee are included.
18:00 hrs	Depending on the traffic, we will be back in Cancun at around 18:00 hrs.
