8:00 AM from Playa del Carmen.
9:00 - 9:30 AM in Tulum.
9:30 AM Arrival to Sian Ka’an reserve, where a brief explanation
about the biosphere reserve will be given by an experienced
Biologist. Begin the boat trip through the wetlands. The trip
goes from Muyil to Xlapak Temple in the middle of the wetlands.
In Xlapak area we will be able to swim in a fresh water channel through mangroves and savanna. The different types of vegetation and birds are identified by our guide. Softdrinks and snacks
are provided.
12:00 PM Back to Muyil and hiking in the jungle with explanation
of the most important plants and animals of the area, enjoy
hiking maya trail. Also discover a Maya archeological site.
1:30 PM Depart towards Cenote Escondido where snorkeling or
swimming is a must.
3:00 PM Lunch in a Restaurant. The meal consists of a main dish
( chicken, beef or fish ), and softdrinks
4:30 PM Depart towards Tulum, Playa del Carmen and Cancun.
6:30 PM Arrival to Cancun.
