Eduardo Patiño González Mexican ecotourism guide since 1994 - He has been dedicated to environmental education through ecotourism. He has been guiding his life towards conservation, ecotourism being the tool to create environmental consciousness. Some of the species in which he has been working with are Whale sharks, turtles, sailfish, humpback whales, gray whales, wild dolphins, crocodiles, birds, monarch butterflies and other wildlife. He enjoys snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, biking and expeditions. He is convinced that a better understanding of nature will lead us to a much broader comprehension and management of our planet. |

Andy Betancourt Allen Andy was born in Venenezuela but his heart belongs to the whole planet; traveling for what ever reason. His belief is that traveling makes us grow, learn and understand not just who we are but what we are. He has been traveling for the last 11 years, spending as much time as possible in every place he goes. He has a background in exotic animal training, photography, diving, free diving, yoga and of course guiding tours. |

Hernan Esquivel Casanova Originally from Merida but now residing in Cancun, Hernan enjoys guiding because he enjoys being able to share information and highlight the culture of Mexico. He is very proud of his country! Hernan enjoys cooking, fishing and anything involved with nature - especially bird watching. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with his 3 children. |

Gabriela Recio Torres She is certified in Mexican Archaeology & History and speaks both English and Spanish. She has over 6 years experience guiding and is very passionate about the Mesoamerican Cultures and the Maya World. She strives to provide high quality service with every detail. Living in Cancun for almost 18 years, Gaby loves to be outdoors with her daughter and is always looking forward to exploring and learning more about Archaeological sites, Natural Reserves and anything adventurous. She also loves to have the opportunity to share it as your guide! |

Juan Carlos Bacelis He is an accredited archaeological guide in three languages, English, French and Italian and he has 12 years of experience performing this activity mainly in archeological sites of the Yucatan peninsula. He was born in Chiapas and now lives in Playa del Carmen. |

Eduardo Escalera He has worked in the tourism industry for over 16 years working as a Whole Sale Travel Agency Representative from USA, Brazil & Spain and also Group Coordinator on Incentive travel and Congresses for Companies. He is a certified Guide in Archeology and Mexican History as well as nature. He speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese and loves nature, culture and outdoors activities for recreation purposes and even for competition. He enjoys Kayaking, Biking and cooking (Mexican and international Recipes). |
Cristopher Lopez Paniagua Cristopher Lopez Paniagua is originally from Campeche, Mexico. He studied Agricultural Economics with an orientation in ecotourism which led him to obtaining a Master in Natural Resources Economics. Cris has always been amazed with nature and it is this passion that directed him to become involvde with ecotourism; not only trying to enjoy our natural resources but also teaching the importance and the responsibility that we have in order to take care of the environment. His experience includes environmental services studies in Jalisco, Mexico, ecotourism projects in Puebla as well as the involvement in the Monarch butterfly Region where in conjunction with the US Forest Service, CONANP and World Wildlife Fund-Mexico, he helped to develop and coordinate a business plan to improve the Cerro Prieto Sanctuary in Angangueo, Michoacan. Originally hailing from the Yucatan peninsula he strives to help his people by teaching about this beautiful and amazing area while also having tremendous fun in every tour. What he loves the most is meeting new people, nature and food! |

Alberto Morales Alberto is a nature lover, from the tiny spiders at night in the jungle, to the whale sharks in the ocean! Caves are among his favorites, and he takes great pride in showing remote areas, rural communities and Federal Reserve’s away from the beaten tracks. SCUBA diving, snorkeling, trekking, caving, rappel or nature observation is a serious matter, every activity is carefully planned and the related gear is provided for your safety and full enjoyment. With more than 15 years experience in the tourism industry, he is committed to service and well being of his guests, who often become long lasting friendships. Started in the tourism activity as a waiter, earned the Five Diamond Award to Excellence in Service two years in a row at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Cancun, he has experience planning complex logistics, leading groups, solving special requests, and enjoys new demanding challenges. |

Kenneth Anthony Johnson Diaz Kenneth Johnson is owner and general manager of EcoColors, an Ecotourism adventure company in the Maya world in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. EcoColors runs eco-educational, biking, kayaking, snorkeling, trekking, bird watching and archaeological tours. He is a marine biologist with a Masters degree in business administration, and has several years experience in designing new products and working with local communities to promote ecotourism. He has been the president and vice-president of the Mexican association of adventure travel and ecotourism, which focuses on the development and marketing of responsible operations in Mexico. He has also worked to train local communities on environmental interpretation, providing experience in the development and operation of ecotourism. Currently Kenneth works as an outreach coordinator with the Coral Reef Alliance, where he advances the goals of the ICRAN MAR project to facilitate the development of good environmental practices for marine tour operators. Kenneth's passion is showing and teaching people about wildlife, as well as explaining why conserving wildlife is important for our world. Fortunately Mexico and the Mayna region has tremendous biodiversity to discover and explore! |

Claudio Alejandro Born in Xalapa, Veracruz and living for 11 years in cancun Claudio currently lives in Playa del Carmen. He studied archaeaology and History of Mexico and enjoys cycling rappelling, canopy, kayacking snorkeling at reef and cenotes. One of his best memories was in a visit to Chichen Itza, where a guest at the end of the day told him “Claudio, after today, I will become Mayan" because he was so inspired about learning about the Mayan sites and culture. He enjoys his job, because it allows him the chance to introduce the visitors into this beautiful country full of art, traditions and rich nature. Working in EcoColors makes him feel proud to share the philosophy about nature and love of Mexico. He shares the conviction that “we are the solution of the problems, not just the cause” involving employees and collaborators. |
