Tanya Sandoval Tanya is a Physics graduate from Imperial College London. Originally from Mexico City, she lived 4 years in London and has had traveling experiences in most of Europe, Asia and South America. While at university, she got involved with the outdoors and kayaking clubs in a series of expeditions, which inspired her to switch her path momentarily from Einstein & the Big-Bang to wildlife conservation in Mexico. She was also commissioned as the president of the IC Latin-American Society where she was in charge of promoting Mexican culture in London. What she enjoys the most is traveling, outdoors sports, mountains, walking the Gobi desert, wandering around Antartica, eating raw insects with the natives from Cape York Australia, lying in a car passing 5 countries in 24 hours and hanging out in the freezing cold stuffed with jackets & avalanche gear. A loud fearless Jane who speaks a lot and will fill you with knowledge of Mexico and nature.

Cristopher Lopez Paniagua
Cristopher Lopez Paniagua is originally from Campeche, Mexico. He studied agricultural economics with orientation in ecotourism and he has a master degree in Natural resources economics. Since always Cris has been amazed with nature and looking for opportunities to enjoy what he calls god´s miracles and it is this passion what directed him to get involve with ecotourism, not just trying to enjoy our natural resources but also teaching the importance and the responsibility that we have in order to take care of the environment were we are just passing until the next generations arrive. His experience include environmental services studies in Jalisco, Mexico, ecotourism projects in Puebla and also he has been involve in the Monarch butterfly Region were in conjunction with the US Forest Service, CONANP and World Wildlife Fund-Mexico developed and coordinated a business plan to improve the Cerro Prieto Sanctuary in Angangueo, Michoacan. As originally from Yucatan peninsula he wants to help his people teaching about this beautiful and amazing area meanwhile he is not just helping to take care of the ecosystem but also having tremendous fun in every tour. What he loves the most is: meeting new people, nature and food.

Kenneth Anthony Johnson Diaz
Kenneth Johnson is owner and general manager of EcoColors, an Ecotourism adventure company in the Maya world in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. EcoColors runs eco-educational, biking, kayaking, snorkeling, trekking, bird watching and archaeological tours. He is a marine biologist with a Masters degree in business administration, and has several years experience in designing new products and working with local communities to promote ecotourism. He has been the president and vice-president of the Mexican association of adventure travel and ecotourism, which focuses on the development and marketing of responsible operations in Mexico. He has also worked to train local communities on environmental interpretation, providing experience in the development and operation of ecotourism. Some of the communities he has trained include Punta Allen and Muyil in Siankaan, Holbox, and Xcalak town. Currently Kenneth works as an outreach coordinator with the Coral Reef Alliance, where he advances the goals of the ICRAN MAR project to facilitate the development of good environmental practices for marine tour operators. Finally, Kenneth´s passion is showing and teaching people about wildlife, as well as explaining why conserving wildlife is important for our world. Fortunately Mexico and the Maya region has tremendous biodiversity to discover and explore. |
