What do I need to bring for the tour?

You should bring comfortable clothes and bathing suit under it, sun lotion, cap and your own towel. We also recommend comfortable shoes.

What kind of snack will be served?

EcoColors will provide you a snack before lunch. The snack is usually fruits, sweet or salty bread, peanuts, cereal bars and soda. We will also provide you with water.

 Do I need any immunizations to go to México?

Usually not. For total medical information and advice for foreign travel, check with your health center or your physician, and check out the online data at the CDC (Center for Disease Control & Prevention) website.

Where is Sian Ka’an?

Sian Ka’an is Biosphere Reserve in the Yucatan Peninsula. To get there it usually takes 2 hours driving from Cancun, 1 hour and a half from Puerto Morelos and about 1 hour driving from Playa del Carmen.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

It is not necessary, although you can bring it if you want. EcoColor provides the kayak (in case of the Multisport Tour) , life jackets, and snorkelling gear.

Where is the pick up?

EcoColors vans will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel, or in a location previously accorded in case you are not staying in a hotel.

What is a “Cenote”?

A Cenote   is a natural depression or hole in the surface topography containing groundwater, typically found in the Yucatán Peninsula and some nearby Caribbean islands.  Cenote water is often very clear, as the water comes from rain water infiltrating slowly through the ground, and therefore contains very little suspended particulate matter.
